Edinho Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Shadow FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Benjamim Vaz hit a great ball. Lucas Mota struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Edinho Baptista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dínamo de Mauá. After 8 minutes of play, Dínamo de Mauá's Daníel Dal Bello made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edinho Baptista was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Shadow FC's Nestor Ramos got a free kick in the 12th minute. Zé Augusto Neto took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edinho Baptista. Edinho Baptista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 17 minutes into the game, Daníel Dal Bello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Edinho Baptista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Federico Errazquin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Edinho Baptista was a little too slow when Daníel Dal Bello got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Federico Errazquin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dínamo de Mauá's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Errazquin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edinho Baptista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daníel Dal Bello took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edinho Baptista. Edinho Baptista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 35 minutes in the game, Lucas Mota fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Edinho Baptista having to interfere. Dínamo de Mauá's Amílton de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Ramos in the 40th minute of play. When Shadow FC's Nestor Ramos in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dínamo de Mauá's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daníel Dal Bello in the 44th minute of play forced Shadow FC's goalkeeper Edinho Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nestor Ramos made a kick off. Tadeu Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edinho Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Errazquin, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 66th minute, Wilian Carioca had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Federico Errazquin during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Federico Errazquin hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Daníel Dal Bello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dínamo de Mauá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 81st match minute, Dínamo de Mauá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson Paraense to maneuver through the defense. Edinho Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daníel Dal Bello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edinho Baptista came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Dínamo de Mauá's Daníel Dal Bello. But to his dismay, Daníel Dal Bello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Edinho Baptista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Mota went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Shadow FC's Edinho Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Mota in the 95th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Shadow FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamim Vaz. Shadow FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
