The supporters of Shadow FC booed when Thiago FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 3 minutes into the game, Natanael Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thiago FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shadow FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Thiago FC's Natanael Azevedo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeu Favoretto got free with Reynaldo Vergílio in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valdo de Amaral hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Edinho Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Alcântara in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Thiago FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bernardo Antunes hit a great ball. Reynaldo Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Gilberto Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Edinho Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Thiago FC's Gilberto Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edinho Baptista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reynaldo Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Cavalcante in the 38th minute of the match. With a little luck, Thiago FC's Reynaldo Vergílio got control of the ball when Gilson Mandrak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Umberto Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Gilberto Alcântara scored 1-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edinho Baptista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Nestor Ramos made the kick off in the second half. 64 minutes into the match, Thiago FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Cavalcante came free, but Reynaldo Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edinho Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Alcântara in the 67th minute of the match. Sílvio Luiz Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edinho Baptista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Shadow FC's goalkeeper Edinho Baptista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Shadow FC's Gilson Mandrak in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Thiago FC's goalie prevented a goal. Sílvio Luiz Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Thiago FC's zone, Gilson Mandrak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Vergílio came out of the goal and Gilson Mandrak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Antunes lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Shadow FC. Rafinha Senna stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Reynaldo Vergílio. 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Shadow FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
