SUBIRUS F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guaraipos EC the free kick. In the 5th minute, Luizão de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimir Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Guaraipos EC defense, Luizão de Salles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elói Paraibano. The Guaraipos EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elói Paraibano should have stopped the shot. Eusébio Aguiars short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Ian Fontes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Guaraipos EC booed when SUBIRUS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorginho Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, SUBIRUS F.C's Arthur Albuquerque got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Jano Donatello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaraipos EC's Elói Paraibano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Jano Donatello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elói Paraibano. Guaraipos EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jano Donatello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Elói Paraibano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Joaquim Reis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, SUBIRUS F.C's Erik Ferraz got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Luizão de Salles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SUBIRUS F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 41 minutes into the match, Guaraipos EC's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Albuquerque came free, but Elói Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Jano Donatello notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Guaraipos EC's Elói Paraibano. Elói Paraibano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Elói Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jano Donatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Luizão de Salles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elói Paraibano. That made the score 0-5 in the 53 minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Jorginho Mota was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elói Paraibano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elói Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizão de Salles in the 76th minute of play. Elói Paraibano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 0-7. SUBIRUS F.C's Felipe Cosme was substituted for Uhin Granero. In the 86th minute of the match, Luizão de Salles tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elói Paraibano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jano Donatello got free with Elói Paraibano in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute Luizão de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elói Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as SUBIRUS F.C's Jano Donatello slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elói Paraibano. That made the score 0-9 after 89 minutes of play.
