Casado Mondrevilla ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 18 minutes, Bebeto de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SEM CHANCE F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bebeto de Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Casado Mondrevilla sped through GALAXY RANGERS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luisão Barros. Hajdar Bregu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisão Barros having to interfere. Abel de Salles was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. The referee gave GALAXY RANGERS a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Durval Trigo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SEM CHANCE F.C's Michel Zanette. 3-1. Ronaldinho Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisão Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Arnaldo Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of SEM CHANCE F.C booed when GALAXY RANGERS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durval Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Bebeto de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. SEM CHANCE F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Bebeto de Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisão Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, GALAXY RANGERS's Nilmar Custódio got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnaldo Martins to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Jânio Mendes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisão Barros. GALAXY RANGERS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jânio Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Luisão Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto de Medeiros in the 73rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Bebeto de Medeiros sped through GALAXY RANGERS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luisão Barros. In the 92nd minute, Leonel Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that SEM CHANCE F.C were the better team. SEM CHANCE F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
