In the 16th match minute, Shadow FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Shadow FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GALAXY RANGERS the free kick. After 42 played minutes Shadow FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fernando Queiroz. 43 minutes into the match, GALAXY RANGERS's Durval Trigo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 45 minutes into the game, Gilson Mandrak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shadow FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GALAXY RANGERS the free kick. Gilson Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. GALAXY RANGERS's Luisão Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save GALAXY RANGERS from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. Edinho Baptista was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Durval Trigo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Durval Trigo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Carlos Eduardo Matorin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. GALAXY RANGERS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 91 played minutes GALAXY RANGERS got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho da Cunha. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. GALAXY RANGERS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
