Spectators: 7727 (Terracing: 5796, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elder Meireles kicked off to start the match. Raphael de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute of the match, Claudinei Baiano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luiz Fernando Vaz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinei Baiano in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fernando Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, Luisana EC's Claudinei Baiano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fernando Vaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luiz Fernando Vaz made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Luizão Quintal sent off a good shot on target. Luiz Fernando Vaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinei Baiano in the 19th minute. Alfredo Faria's late challenge caught a Luisana EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Faria helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Luisana EC booed when GrandBulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Luisana EC's Gonçalo Ferreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Fernando Vaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Luizão Quintal came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Luisana EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luizão Quintal couldn't finish the play. Gonçalo Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Luiz Fernando Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Elder Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Vaz having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Luizão Quintal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Fernando Vaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 45 minutes of play, Luisana EC's Francisco Gerber made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fernando Vaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luizão Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonçalo Ferreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, José Maria Vaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Luiz Fernando Vaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 55 minutes into the match, José Maria Vaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fernando Vaz. GrandBulls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Maria Vaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After a defensive mix-up in GrandBulls's zone, Francisco Gerber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fernando Vaz came out of the goal and Francisco Gerber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, José Maria Vaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fernando Vaz. GrandBulls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Maria Vaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. 68 minutes into the game, Luisana EC's Gonçalo Ferreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Fernando Vaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Claudinei Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luisana EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Baiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fernando Vaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Faria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natã da Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Luisana EC's Gustavo Tavares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fernando Vaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gonçalo Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Vaz having to interfere. Alfredo Faria struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Natã da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GrandBulls. Kléberson Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, GrandBulls's goal looked a bit too open when Luizão Quintal came free, but Luiz Fernando Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fernando Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Tavares in the 89th minute of play. Luizão Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Luisana EC fully deserved thier win.
