Bruno Tróia was a little too slow when Claudinei Baiano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo de Queirós in the 10th minute of play forced Luisana EC's goalkeeper Natã da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Luisana EC's goal looked a bit too open when Martyn Babushkin came free, but Natã da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match, Gustavo Tavares tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bruno Tróia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bruno Tróia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinei Baiano went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, Claudinei Baiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Tróia. Juventus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudinei Baiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 28th minute Gustavo Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Quintal in the 31st minute of play forced Juventus's goalkeeper Bruno Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juventus's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Claudinei Baiano 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. Juventus's Bruno Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Baiano in the 40th minute of play. Rodrigo de Queirós hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Luisana EC's Luizão Quintal tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sonny Langsford stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martyn Babushkin during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Juventus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martyn Babushkin to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizão Quintal in the 57th minute of the match. Bruno Tróia came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Luisana EC's Gustavo Tavares. But to his dismay, Gustavo Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Carlos Alberto Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo de Queirós in the 68th minute of play forced Luisana EC's goalkeeper Natã da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonçalo Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Tróia having to interfere. With a little luck, Luisana EC's Natã da Cunha got control of the ball when Rodrigo de Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martyn Babushkin might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natã da Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martyn Babushkin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th match minute, Luisana EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséias Rezende to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Júlio de Queirós got free with Natã da Cunha in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruno Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Ferreira in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Luisana EC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Cido do Valle hit a great ball. The Luisana EC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
