In the 15th minute Sonny Langsford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Luiz Fernando Vaz managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Juventus's Sonny Langsford fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Sonny Langsford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventus's supporters rose to their feet, but Sonny Langsford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fernando Vaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Fernando Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sonny Langsford in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Sonny Langsford reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luiz Fernando Vaz. The goal made the score 2-0. Raphael de Lara's late challenge caught a Juventus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael de Lara helped the player get up and apologised. Raphael de Lara hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Juventus's Erivaldo Cavalcante tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Juventus booed when GrandBulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kléberson Peres fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GrandBulls's protests and gave Kléberson Peres a yellow card for diving instead. Kléberson Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Juventus booed when GrandBulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sonny Langsfords short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Luiz Fernando Vaz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 46th match minute, GrandBulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Faria to maneuver through the defense. Erivaldo Cavalcante struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Luiz Fernando Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elder Meireles made a kick off. Sonny Langsford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Vaz having to interfere. After 56 minutes of play, Juventus's Sonny Langsford made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fernando Vaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sonny Langsford in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fernando Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to GrandBulls getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Afonso Donatello hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Baptista got free with Bruno Tróia in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rodrigo de Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Juventus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo de Queirós couldn't finish the play. GrandBulls's Luiz Fernando Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Langsford in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Martyn Babushkin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Luiz Fernando Vaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Afonso Donatello was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, GrandBulls's goal looked a bit too open when Bogumil Cipinski came free, but Luiz Fernando Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fernando Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Langsford, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Kléberson Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
