Frank Sartori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of OLIMPYACUS F. C. booed when Jacuitiba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genílson Catarinense lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, OLIMPYACUS F. C.'s Genílson Catarinense got a free kick in the 29th minute. Frank Sartori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in OLIMPYACUS F. C.'s zone, Basílio Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Sartori came out of the goal and Basílio Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, OLIMPYACUS F. C.'s goalkeeper Frank Sartori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinícius Branco. Basílio Silveiras short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Frank Sartori to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 47 played minutes OLIMPYACUS F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Asp. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gualterio Edwardo during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frank Sartori was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Jacuitiba - FSCMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
