Bruno Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sonny Langsford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Garcia having to interfere. In the 11th minute of the match, Giovanni Tasso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bruno Tróia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Rodrigo de Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juventus's protests and gave Rodrigo de Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Rodrigo de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Bruno Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Alcântara in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Tróia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Marcus Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sonny Langsford's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aírton Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sonny Langsford sped through Capoeiral SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aírton Garcia. Tales Lira scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Tróia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sonny Langsford made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Juventus's Júlio de Queirós nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aírton Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Bruno Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Alcântara in the 56th minute of play. Marcus Alcântara succeeded in the game's 57th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Juventus's Bruno Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Alcântara in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Capoeiral SC's Tales Lira got a free kick in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus's zone, Marcus Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Tróia came out of the goal and Marcus Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute Tales Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos de Senna's late challenge caught a Juventus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos de Senna helped the player get up and apologised. 84 minutes into the game, one of Capoeiral SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Erivaldo Cavalcante walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Sonny Langsfords short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Aírton Garcia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Juventus booed when Capoeiral SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Maria de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Juventus's 조 점 got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Capoeiral SC's zone, Sonny Langsford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. But to his dismay, Tales Lira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Capoeiral SC fully deserved thier win.
