The wind increased when Cristian Duarte made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Hulk Orange got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Willian Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu Vinhas in the 63rd minute of the match. Ernani Cearense's late challenge caught a Águia Tricolor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Deivid Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Águia Tricolor's Guga França slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Willian Loyola. That made the score 1-5 after 79 minutes of play. The supporters of Águia Tricolor booed when Morro Grande E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Águia Tricolor played a much better game than Morro Grande E.C and deserved their victory. The Morro Grande E.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
