Murat Selim Zaik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adalberto Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. João Oliveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guga França in the 29th minute. Aílton Damião could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but João Oliveira made a huge save. With a little luck, Inacio F.C.'s João Oliveira got control of the ball when Aílton Damião tried to sneak it across the goal line. Águia Tricolor's Murat Selim Zaik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Babicki in the 36th minute of play. Murat Selim Zaik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Severiano Nel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murat Selim Zaik. Águia Tricolor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severiano Nel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Murat Selim Zaik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severiano Nel's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

In the 52nd minute, Adalberto Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hulk Orange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aílton Damião in the 54th minute of play forced Inacio F.C.'s goalkeeper João Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Inacio F.C.! After having played for 67 minutes, Gugu Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Águia Tricolor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gugu Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Águia Tricolor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inacio F.C. the free kick. In the 76th match minute, Águia Tricolor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Araújo to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute of the match Inacio F.C. got a corner. Águia Tricolor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Severiano Nel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dorival Laguna tried in the 78th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Murat Selim Zaik a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-2. João Oliveira came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Águia Tricolor's Aílton Damião. But to his dismay, Aílton Damião quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Murat Selim Zaik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Babicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Aílton Damião's late challenge caught a Inacio F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aílton Damião helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Inacio F.C. booed when Águia Tricolor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Damião didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Inacio F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
