Desiderio Mikelar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Reima Myllylä took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Willian Loyola to make any attempt to save it. In the 15th minute Albertinho Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wesley Valadares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Wesley Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Valadares came free, but Willian Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Cristian Duarte made the kick off in the second half. Willian Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Reima Myllylä managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Royal Mariachis's supporters rose to their feet, but Reima Myllylä was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willian Loyola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Luisinho Silva got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 97 minutes into the game, Los Royal Mariachis's Raí Paraibano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willian Loyola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los Royal Mariachis had played much better football throughout.
