The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Meia Praia's Filipe Eanes got a free kick in the 21st minute. A wasted opportunity for Three Lions FC. Amílton Dantas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but George Messi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Grêmio Meia Praia. George Messi might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amílton Dantas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. George Messi ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the match, Grêmio Meia Praia's goal looked a bit too open when George Messi came free, but Amílton Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Three Lions FC could leave the field as winners, despite Grêmio Meia Praia having more of the ball for most of the match.
