Caco Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nono Contreras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Basílio Sousa hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Destroyers F.C.'s Basílio Sousa got a free kick in the 8th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Wesley Valadares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nono Contreras. Destroyers F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wesley Valadares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Krzysztof Betonowy might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nono Contreras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Krzysztof Betonowy ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute, Waldir de Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Wágner Arruda fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Destroyers F.C.'s protests and gave Wágner Arruda a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Los Royal Mariachis booed when Destroyers F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wágner Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Waldir de Amaral notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Destroyers F.C.'s Nono Contreras. Nono Contreras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Waldir de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertinho Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Nono Contreras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wesley Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nono Contreras having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play, Los Royal Mariachis's Wesley Valadares made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nono Contreras was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nono Contreras came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Royal Mariachis's Albertinho Velloso. But to his dismay, Albertinho Velloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Waldir de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wesley Valadares was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Destroyers F.C.'s zone, Wesley Valadares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nono Contreras came out of the goal and Wesley Valadares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reima Myllylä's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nono Contreras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Waldir de Amaral came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nono Contreras could save by the left post. Destroyers F.C.'s Nono Contreras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Destroyers F.C. from getting a goal against them. Waldir de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Los Royal Mariachis's Marcinho Palmeira was substituted for Samuel de Castro. Wesley Valadares was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Los Royal Mariachis's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Albertinho Velloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Royal Mariachis's Wilson de Brito was substituted for Ezequiel Mattos. Fabrizio Luzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nono Contreras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrizio Luzi ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Destroyers F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Krzysztof Betonowy was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Royal Mariachis's players had a chance to rest. When Wesley Valadares, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 72 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Nono Contreras was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Wilson Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilson Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Destroyers F.C.'s Nono Contreras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Destroyers F.C. from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, Wesley Valadares notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Destroyers F.C.'s Nono Contreras. Nono Contreras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 82 minutes into the match, Destroyers F.C.'s Wilson Rosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Mikelar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reima Myllylä blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nono Contreras having to make a save. Los Royal Mariachis's Raí Paraibano was substituted for Wesley Valadares. After having played for 91 minutes, Wilson Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Destroyers F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilson Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Destroyers F.C.'s Nono Contreras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Destroyers F.C. from getting a goal against them. Nono Contreras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Los Royal Mariachis left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Destroyers F.C..
