Manfredo Alvarenga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henry Van Herendael having to make a save. Luiz Eduardo Negri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidney Pimenta's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rubinho Soares was the one to do the kick off. Sidney Pimenta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Eduardo Negri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Paulinho Ferreira advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 54th minute. When Jeremias Novaes fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Facção Capixaba's protests and gave Jeremias Novaes a yellow card for diving instead. Jeremias Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Sidney Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Jeremias Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Facção Capixaba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Novaes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, BRC WeeD Dogs's João Augusto Rocha got a free kick in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. BRC WeeD Dogs walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
