In the 23rd minute of the match, Leonard Oborski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ian Paranaense saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 24th match minute, Sheffield United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinei Lira to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Sheffield United F.C. defense, Agostinho Trevisan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 乔战斌. When Dinei Lira came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Sheffield United F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinei Lira couldn't finish the play. Pichote Junior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldinho Baptista to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Sheffield United F.C.'s protests and gave Leonard Oborski a yellow card for diving instead. Roberto Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Golden State Warriors booed when Sheffield United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. 乔战斌 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Golden State Warriors played a much better game than Sheffield United F.C. and deserved their victory. The Sheffield United F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
