After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Caetano De Bruyne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leão de Judá's supporters rose to their feet, but Caetano De Bruyne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Littles's zone, Bernardinho de Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Cruz came out of the goal and Bernardinho de Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardinho de Brito hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 27 minutes of play, Leão de Judá's Caetano De Bruyne made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adriano Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adriano Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rdth minute of the game 谢克军 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leão de Judá's Gadiel Gadov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, 谢克军 put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gadiel Gadov. Adriano Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Rincón in the 39th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 谢克军 to make the kick off.
