After 15 minutes of play, Vila Mascote FC's Cleiton Vidal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Paranaense was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Zhang Zheng Liang sped through Golden State Warriors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ian Paranaense. Ian Paranaense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cleiton Vidal's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Golden State Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Vidal came free, but Ian Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golden State Warriors's Ian Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhang Zheng Liang in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Vila Mascote FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Kaká Mota hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Kaká Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes Vila Mascote FC got a freekick which was hit by Kaká Mota. 36 minutes into the match, Vila Mascote FC's Cleiton Vidal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ian Paranaense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th match minute, Vila Mascote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhang Zheng Liang to maneuver through the defense. Cleiton Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ian Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Rosa made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ronaldinho Baptista sent off a good shot on target. Cleiton Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Paranaense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhang Zheng Liang, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cleiton Vidal to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Vila Mascote FC's Luís Fabiano Eger got a free kick in the 52nd minute. William Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Golden State Warriors were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Vila Mascote FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Noel de Castro took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Lebang Nhlapo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 59th minute Zhang Zheng Liang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Paranaense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhang Zheng Liang in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Golden State Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Vidal came free, but Ian Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Cleiton Vidal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ian Paranaense. Golden State Warriors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cleiton Vidal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Zhang Zheng Liang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th play minute Zhang Zheng Liang came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ian Paranaense. 0-4. When André Luís Botelho fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Golden State Warriors's protests and gave André Luís Botelho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, André Luís Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cleiton Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Paranaense having to interfere. Golden State Warriors's Ian Paranaense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Golden State Warriors from getting a goal against them. In the 79th match minute, Golden State Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Baptista to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Golden State Warriors's goalkeeper Ian Paranaense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zhang Zheng Liang. Ian Paranaense was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cleiton Vidal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 83 minute of play. When Zhang Zheng Liang came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Vila Mascote FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhang Zheng Liang couldn't finish the play. After 87 played minutes Golden State Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Lebang Nhlapo. Cleiton Vidal struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Ian Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila Mascote FC. Ian Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleiton Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
