The Concórdia fans' excitement grew in the 2nd match minute when Concórdia's Keno Ronaldinho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 5 minutes into the game, Concórdia's 庄益洋 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gugu Gaúcho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Keno Ronaldinho scored 0-3 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gugu Gaúcho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Monteiro scored 0-4 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gugu Gaúcho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 14 minutes of play, Concórdia's Alberto Monteiro made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gugu Gaúcho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gugu Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 庄益洋, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, 庄益洋 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Concórdia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 21st minute, 庄益洋 made a precise shot to the right of Gugu Gaúcho. Barra Funda F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Alberto Monteiro sped through Barra Funda F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gugu Gaúcho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keno Ronaldinho in the 27th minute of play forced Barra Funda F.C's goalkeeper Gugu Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Wesley Lopez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Gugu Gaúcho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gugu Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keno Ronaldinho in the 33rd minute of the match. 庄益洋 took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gugu Gaúcho. Gugu Gaúcho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Gugu Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Senin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0-11 became the score in the 38th minute when Alberto Monteiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Barra Funda F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Keno Ronaldinho came free, but Gugu Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Keno Ronaldinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gugu Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-12 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wesley Tróia to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes Barra Funda F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jose Senin who took care of the corner kick. Tiberiu Spârlea took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gugu Gaúcho. Gugu Gaúcho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. In the 60th minute, Keno Ronaldinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gugu Gaúcho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-14. 64 minutes into the game, Jose Senin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-15. Gugu Gaúcho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Keno Ronaldinho got free with Gugu Gaúcho in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gugu Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Senin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barra Funda F.C's Gugu Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Viana in the 73rd minute of play. Gugu Gaúcho was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Sérgio Viana capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sérgio Viana really showed his touch with that goal: 0-17. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barra Funda F.C's goalkeeper Gugu Gaúcho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Hortêncio Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Keno Ronaldinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gugu Gaúcho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-18. With an all-out effort, Concórdia's Gugu Gaúcho threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jose Senin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 87th minute, Concórdia's Keno Ronaldinho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-19. After 90 played minutes Concórdia got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Viana. After 93rd play minutes Keno Ronaldinho shot 0-20, a short shot which went by Gugu Gaúcho and just under the crossbar into goal. Wesley Tróia charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wesley Tróia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wesley Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Concórdia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Barra Funda F.C.
