Mathias Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Godoi having to interfere. Douglas Peres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Rudolfo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After some careless play in the Germania F.C. defense, Amauri Messias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Godoi. The Germania F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Godoi should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute, S.C. Tigres Paulista's Mathias Dantas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 22 played minutes S.C. Tigres Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Vitório Barral. Francisco Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Válter Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Rudolfo having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, S.C. Tigres Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Pisarczyk came free, but Pedro Rudolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo Barros in the 31st minute of play. Pedro Rudolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Germania F.C.'s zone, Amauri Messias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Godoi came out of the goal and Amauri Messias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Peres in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Isaltino Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júlio Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Dantas in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Douglas Peres to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Válter Soares could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Pedro Rudolfo however easily saved by the left post. Júlio Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Alan Aparecido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Germania F.C.'s Dedé das Neves got a free kick in the 58th minute. Júlio Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amauri Messias in the 65th minute of play.
