The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vágner Vasconcelos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Asep Darusman to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Xavier Vilar made a precise shot to the right of Vágner Vasconcelos. Patriots Brasil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 57th minute of the match, Xavier Vilar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vágner Vasconcelos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Asep Darusman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Vágner Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcinho Camargo came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Patriots Brasil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcinho Camargo couldn't finish the play. Xavier Vilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Vasconcelos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Esporte Clube do Porto's Okanay Elmas got a free kick in the 85th minute. Vágner Vasconcelos made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Asep Darusman sent off a good shot on target. Patriots Brasil's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Xavier Vilar scored to the left of an out of position Vágner Vasconcelos, making the score, 0-3. When the final whistle sounded Esporte Clube do Porto left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Patriots Brasil.
