After a rather tough play, Cambuquira FC's Samuel Prestes got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Francisco Ibañez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zagloul Cambuquira, passed just outside the right post. Olgierd Smolarek hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Cambuquira FC's Olívio Duarte tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aleandro Cambuquira made a kick off. Claudinho Sergipano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aleandro Cambuquira in the 54th minute. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cambuquira FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomé Sanches was slow to take the kick. During this time CZRFERLIN's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Olgierd Smolarek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cambuquira FC's Zagloul Cambuquira did a great save.
