With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlando França in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gugu Gaúcho saved Barra Funda F.C from getting behind. After 15 minutes, Orlando França made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Barra Funda F.C's Gugu Gaúcho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of SANTASTICO booed when Barra Funda F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando França in the 20th minute of play forced Barra Funda F.C's goalkeeper Gugu Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute SANTASTICO were awarded a corner. Doriva Albuquerque went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Doriva Albuquerque got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gugu Gaúcho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 23rd minute, Frédson Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Orlando França notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Barra Funda F.C's Gugu Gaúcho. Gugu Gaúcho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gugu Gaúcho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando França's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Mauro Arruda might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gugu Gaúcho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauro Arruda ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th match minute, Barra Funda F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Gugu Gaúcho came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by SANTASTICO's Orlando França. But to his dismay, Orlando França quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Mauro Arruda struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Gugu Gaúcho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SANTASTICO. Orlando França scored 0-5 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gugu Gaúcho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wesley Tróia hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When Orlando França came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the SANTASTICO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando França couldn't finish the play. Mauro Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gugu Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wesley Tróia was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Barra Funda F.C defense, Orlando França kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gugu Gaúcho. The Barra Funda F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gugu Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute, SANTASTICO's Orlando França dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. A hard shot 68 in the game by Orlando França from a close distance when the talented Gugu Gaúcho managed to make a qualified save. Barra Funda F.C's players were relieved. Norberto Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tiaguinho Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gugu Gaúcho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Orlando França showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 75 minute of play. Barra Funda F.C's Gugu Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Arruda in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Orlando França notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Barra Funda F.C's Gugu Gaúcho. Gugu Gaúcho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The SANTASTICO fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when SANTASTICO's Orlando França looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Barra Funda F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Orlando França scored to the left of an out of position Gugu Gaúcho, making the score, 0-11. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Mauro Arruda took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Gugu Gaúcho to make any attempt to save it. SANTASTICO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
