Spectators: 7756 (Terracing: 5819, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 154) Qarabulud La Forgia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gildo Furtado having to make a save. 9 minutes into the match, America FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolaas Terhorst came free, but Gildo Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, America FC's goalkeeper Gildo Furtado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qarabulud La Forgia. The audience thought a goal was coming when Qarabulud La Forgia got free with Gildo Furtado in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luke Clist in the 28th minute of play forced America FC's goalkeeper Gildo Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palmeiras were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after America FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valdir Lopes took the corner. The corner ended in Valdir Lopes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but America FC's Gildo Furtado did a great save. After 30 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Lopes. In the 32ndth minute of the game Yuri Lopez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luke Clist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 37 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Dracena came free, but Régis de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Régis de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Lopez came free, but Régis de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Donato in the 42nd minute of play forced America FC's goalkeeper Gildo Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes, America FC's Jonas Dracena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Régis de Queirós came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in America FC reached it. Yuri Lopez spun around in front of the goal 48 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Palmeiras's goal. After the first half America FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luke Clist to make the kick off. Gildo Furtado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luke Clist went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Luke Clist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Luke Clist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gildo Furtado. America FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luke Clist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 62 minutes of play, Palmeiras's Luke Clist made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gildo Furtado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Palmeiras's Dudu Capixaba was substituted for Michel Sergipano. Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Palmeiras from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, America FC's Abel Mota got a free kick in the 75th minute. Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Lopez in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Nicolaas Terhorst. When Jonas Dracena came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the America FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Dracena couldn't finish the play. Régis de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Maicon Arruda sent off a good shot on target. Gildo Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Donato in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gildo Furtado saved America FC from getting behind. In the 86th minute Leonardo Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildo Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós got control of the ball when Yuri Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, America FC's Gerson Alves got a free kick in the 90th minute. Gildo Furtado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Qarabulud La Forgia's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. With a little luck, Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós got control of the ball when Maicon Arruda tried to sneak it across the goal line.
