Spectators: 7728 (Terracing: 5797, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luke Clist took the kick off in the first half of the match. Qarabulud La Forgia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Yusuf Muslera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Qarabulud La Forgia struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Yusuf Muslera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmeiras. 9 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goalkeeper Régis de Queirós had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miroslaw Miazga. Miroslaw Miazga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Miroslaw Miazga came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the JFSP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miroslaw Miazga couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, JFSP's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Clist came free, but Yusuf Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Régis de Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miroslaw Miazga went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in JFSP's zone, Luke Clist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yusuf Muslera came out of the goal and Luke Clist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, JFSP's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Clist came free, but Yusuf Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vili Kärki in the 29th minute of play forced Palmeiras's goalkeeper Régis de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miroslaw Miazga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Régis de Queirós when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luke Clist in the 40th minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Yusuf Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. JFSP's Yusuf Muslera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qarabulud La Forgia in the 43rd minute of play. Qarabulud La Forgia scored 1-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yusuf Muslera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The wind increased when Miroslaw Miazga made the kick off in the second half. Régis de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslaw Miazga in the 55th minute of play. Yusuf Muslera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qarabulud La Forgia in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, William Ekelund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Cabral in the 60th minute of play forced Palmeiras's goalkeeper Régis de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Kléberson Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Palmeiras's Dudu Capixaba was substituted for Michel Sergipano. After 67 minutes Palmeiras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vili Kärki who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on JFSP's corner Miroslaw Miazga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Régis de Queirós quite easily take care of the ball. Régis de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vili Kärki in the 69th minute of the match. Yusuf Muslera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qarabulud La Forgia in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute of the match Palmeiras got a corner. JFSP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valdir Lopes ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, JFSP's Yusuf Muslera got control of the ball when Leonardo Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute, Paulinho Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Palmeiras booed when JFSP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Ekelund didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Qarabulud La Forgia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luke Clist took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yusuf Muslera. Yusuf Muslera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 89thth minute of the game Qarabulud La Forgia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JFSP's Yusuf Muslera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Qarabulud La Forgia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yusuf Muslera was relentless in the 89th minute of the game.
