Nestor Teles came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by São Wilson's Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson. But to his dismay, Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Corumbaense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho MacLaren came free, but Nestor Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Teles came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by São Wilson's Paulinho MacLaren. But to his dismay, Paulinho MacLaren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When São Wilson's Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Corumbaense F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Nestor Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 27th minute of play. Nestor Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Corumbaense F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulinho MacLaren was slow to take the kick. During this time São Wilson's players had a chance to rest. If Zé Carlos Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernani Camargo charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hernani Camargo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of São Wilson booed when Corumbaense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernani Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson sped through Corumbaense F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nestor Teles. After 43 played minutes Corumbaense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hélio da Silva. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luizão Teixeira during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 46 minutes into the match, Corumbaense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho MacLaren came free, but Nestor Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half São Wilson were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Teles. Corumbaense F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Nestor Teles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Jörg Michael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Teles having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Jörg Michael reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nestor Teles. The goal made the score 0-7. After 67 played minutes Corumbaense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Camargo. The São Wilson fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when São Wilson's Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 73rd minute Paulinho MacLaren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corumbaense F.C.'s Nestor Teles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Corumbaense F.C. from getting a goal against them. Paulinho MacLaren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Nestor Teles made a huge save. In the 79th minute, São Wilson's Silvinho Moraes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nestor Teles. Nestor Teles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. São Wilson's Fausto Jayvier was substituted for Enrique Garcia. São Wilson's João Paulo Antunes was substituted for Valentin Abastas. In the 88thth minute of the game Humberto Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Corumbaense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson came free, but Nestor Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corumbaense F.C.'s Nestor Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho MacLaren in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th minute, São Wilson's Silvinho Moraes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nestor Teles. Nestor Teles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. The Corumbaense F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. São Wilson were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
