Spectators: 7350 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 150) Igarau's Murilo Leal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Waldemar Breckenfeld hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Luís Fernando Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. David Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sten Aher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesinha de Azevedo having to interfere. Sten Aher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cesinha de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Valerian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31stth minute of the game Murilo Leal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA Brasileiros Juniors's Luís Fernando Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Octavian Valerian succeeded in the game's 34th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Igarau's Cesinha de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavian Valerian in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute CA Brasileiros Juniors were awarded a corner. Octavian Valerian went to the cornerflag to take it. Cesinha de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Aher in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Sten Aher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Cesinha de Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Leite in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Bruninho Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind CA Brasileiros Juniors's goalkeeper Luís Fernando Amaral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute of the match Igarau got a corner. CA Brasileiros Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erman Tecmil ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franciszek Andrychowski in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fernando Amaral saved CA Brasileiros Juniors from getting behind. David Leite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesinha de Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Tostão Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Igarau made a substitution. Leonardo Sergipano replaced Juarês Motta. CA Brasileiros Juniors's Fellipe Loyola was substituted for Sten Aher. The referee felt a red card was in order, 79 minutes into the game, when Frederico Carvalho put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Igarau's Frederico Carvalho got a free kick in the 80th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as CA Brasileiros Juniors's Glenn Ottaway slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cesinha de Azevedo. That made the score 0-5 after 82 minutes of play. When Glenn Ottaway came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the CA Brasileiros Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glenn Ottaway couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute Franciszek Andrychowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fernando Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over CA Brasileiros Juniors could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Igarau throughout the match.
