After 4 played minutes CORITIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Breckenfeld. Octavian Valerian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruno Botelho. CORITIBA FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, CORITIBA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Aher came free, but Bruno Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Octavian Valerian notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CORITIBA FC's Bruno Botelho. Bruno Botelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the match, CA Brasileiros Juniors's goalkeeper Luís Fernando Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Perivaldo Ferreira. 15 minutes into the match, Sten Aher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Botelho. CORITIBA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sten Aher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. David Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bruno Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sten Aher in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Botelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Mendonça in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Nico Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA Brasileiros Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Soares in the 27th minute of play forced CA Brasileiros Juniors's goalkeeper Luís Fernando Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Aher in the 36th minute of play forced CORITIBA FC's goalkeeper Bruno Botelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CA Brasileiros Juniors getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Benjamin Odd hit a great ball. The wind increased when Lenílson Matorin made the kick off in the second half. David Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Bruno Botelho made a huge save. 55 minutes into the game, William Trancoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CORITIBA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Brasileiros Juniors the free kick. A collision led to CORITIBA FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. William Trancoso hit a great ball. Sten Aher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 58 minutes, Jorginho de Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CORITIBA FC and the CA Brasileiros Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CORITIBA FC! In the 60th minute there was a penalty for CA Brasileiros Juniors. Sten Aher stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bruno Botelho. 0-6. In the 70th minute, CA Brasileiros Juniors's Octavian Valerian dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. A collision led to CA Brasileiros Juniors getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bruninho Koehler hit a great ball. CA Brasileiros Juniors's Abel Koehler was substituted for Tony Modig. In the 79th match minute, CA Brasileiros Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Koehler to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Fellipe Loyola notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of CORITIBA FC's Bruno Botelho. Bruno Botelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bruno Botelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Glenn Ottaway went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute, Fellipe Loyola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CA Brasileiros Juniors's Luís Fernando Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Ferreira in the 97th minute of play. CORITIBA FC's Perivaldo Ferreira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luís Fernando Amaral in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. CA Brasileiros Juniors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
