The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erubiel Farias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Moreno in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiaguinho Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute of the match Arrozal FC got a corner. Flamengo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dé da Costa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Umberto Barros heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 86th minute, Fernando Moreno made a precise shot to the right of Tiaguinho Goiano. Flamengo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. After 92 played minutes Arrozal FC got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Barros. Raimundo Trevisan struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Perivaldo Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo.
