After a rather tough play, Biruleibe FC's Fabinho Araújo got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Andrézinho Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Andrézinho Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Biruleibe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrézinho Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perivaldo Saraiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Perivaldo Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabinho Araújo in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Arrozal FC booed when Biruleibe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabinho Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Biruleibe FC's goalkeeper Raimundo Sena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Fernando Moreno made a precise shot to the right of Raimundo Sena. Biruleibe FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Raimundo Sena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Moreno went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When Arrozal FC's Fernando Moreno, in the 41st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Arrozal FC. Andrézinho Correia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Perivaldo Saraiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erubiel Farias made a kick off. Erubiel Farias might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimundo Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erubiel Farias ran back to his position shaking his head. Andrézinho Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Saraiva having to interfere. Fabinho Araújo scored 1-5 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Perivaldo Saraiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arrozal FC's Fernando Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Andrézinho Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
