Remo da Rocha took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juninho Cruz. In the 11th minute, Tomé Reis made a precise shot to the right of Juninho Cruz. Cresciuma EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Tomé Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 15th minute, Remo da Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta Club U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Juninho Cruz came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta Club U18's Douglas de Souza. But to his dismay, Douglas de Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 21 minutes into the match, Cresciuma EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Castro came free, but Juninho Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Remo da Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta Club U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 25 minutes into the match, Tomé Reis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juninho Cruz. Cresciuma EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomé Reis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Juninho Cruz came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta Club U18's Tomé Reis. But to his dismay, Tomé Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Douglas de Souza sped through Cresciuma EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juninho Cruz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Castro in the 34th minute of play forced Cresciuma EC's goalkeeper Juninho Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomé Reis struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Juninho Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floresta Club U18. 40 minutes into the game, Tomé Reis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Juninho Cruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juninho Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas de Souza in the 42nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cresciuma EC's zone, Tomé Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juninho Cruz came out of the goal and Tomé Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Floresta Club U18 were leading 0-10. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Marquez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas de Souza in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juninho Cruz saved Cresciuma EC from getting behind. 59 minutes into the game, Remo da Rocha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juninho Cruz. Remo da Rocha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-13. Juninho Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Douglas de Souza went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-14 was the resulting score. Léo de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Aparecido in the 68th minute of play. Gilmar Castro took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juninho Cruz. Juninho Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-15. Jeremias Silva hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 78 minutes in the game, Remo da Rocha fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Juninho Cruz having to interfere. In the 79th minute, David Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas de Souza got free with Juninho Cruz in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilton Nogueira charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilton Nogueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wilton Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Douglas de Souza made a precise shot to the right of Juninho Cruz. Cresciuma EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-16. Cresciuma EC's Juninho Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas de Souza in the 84th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Floresta Club U18's Gilmar Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juninho Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-19. If Gilmar Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juninho Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas de Souza in the 96th minute.
