Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Douglas de Souza got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Arrozal FC's zone, Gilmar Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perivaldo Saraiva came out of the goal and Gilmar Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the match, Gilmar Castro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Arrozal FC's Perivaldo Saraiva. Perivaldo Saraiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th minute, Ruy da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Perivaldo Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Douglas de Souza made a precise shot to the right of Perivaldo Saraiva. Arrozal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 21st minute of the match Remo da Rocha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Perivaldo Saraiva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Perivaldo Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé Reis in the 25th minute of the match. Perivaldo Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas de Souza in the 26th minute of play. Perivaldo Saraiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas de Souza's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Britto in the 30th minute of play forced Floresta Club U18's goalkeeper Léo de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruy da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Gilmar Castro put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Perivaldo Saraiva. When Gilmar Castro came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Floresta Club U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilmar Castro couldn't finish the play. After 40th play minutes Douglas de Souza shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Perivaldo Saraiva and just under the crossbar into goal. If Gilmar Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Erubiel Farias made the kick off in the second half. Perivaldo Saraiva was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Gilmar Castro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilmar Castro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Perivaldo Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilmar Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Perivaldo Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Castro in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Vitório Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrozal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitório Britto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Arrozal FC's Perivaldo Saraiva got control of the ball when Douglas de Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Douglas de Souza succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-9. After 87th play minutes Remo da Rocha shot 0-10, a short shot which went by Perivaldo Saraiva and just under the crossbar into goal. Gilmar Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Perivaldo Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Thomás de Sena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arrozal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floresta Club U18 the free kick. Perivaldo Saraiva made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Douglas de Souza sent off a good shot on target. Floresta Club U18's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
