Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Flamengo's Claudinho Guimarães started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Remo da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Floresta Club U18's Gilmar Castro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tiaguinho Goiano. Tiaguinho Goiano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Flamengo's Tiaguinho Goiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Flamengo from getting a goal against them. Osvaldinho Perez hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Tiaguinho Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruy da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 18 played minutes Flamengo got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Guimarães. In the 19th minute, Douglas de Souza made a precise shot to the right of Tiaguinho Goiano. Flamengo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Tiaguinho Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Durvalino Travassos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes Flamengo got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Travassos. 26 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Goiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliézer Correia. Flamengo's Tiaguinho Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Reis in the 35th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Remo da Rocha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiaguinho Goiano. That made the score 3-0 in the 36 minute of play. Tiaguinho Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Floresta Club U18 booed when Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robinho Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Douglas de Souza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiaguinho Goiano. Flamengo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Douglas de Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Douglas de Souza made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Castro in the 51st minute of play forced Flamengo's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 52 minutes of play, Floresta Club U18's Tomé Reis made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiaguinho Goiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flamengo's Tiaguinho Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas de Souza in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, Floresta Club U18's Tomé Reis made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiaguinho Goiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61stth minute of the game Tomé Reis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamengo's Tiaguinho Goiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, Douglas de Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta Club U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Douglas de Souza scored 8-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiaguinho Goiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Flamengo's Tiaguinho Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remo da Rocha in the 71st minute of play. Tiaguinho Goiano came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta Club U18's Tomé Reis. But to his dismay, Tomé Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 74th match minute, Floresta Club U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endrik Edmundo to maneuver through the defense. Remo da Rocha scored 10-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiaguinho Goiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiaguinho Goiano came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta Club U18's Remo da Rocha. But to his dismay, Remo da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. If Tomé Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flamengo's Tiaguinho Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Castro in the 89th minute of play. Tiaguinho Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas de Souza in the 93rd minute of play forced Flamengo's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Floresta Club U18 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
