The referee ignored Cresciuma EC's protests and gave Wilton Nogueira a yellow card for diving instead. Cresciuma EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Zé Carlos da Mata scored to the left of an out of position Juninho Cruz, making the score, 0-9. Juninho Cruz was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Zé Carlos da Mata capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zé Carlos da Mata really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. 64 minutes into the match, Zé Carlos da Mata dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juninho Cruz, 0-11. The crowd rose to their feet as 彭政响 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juninho Cruz. That made the score 0-12 in the 67 minute of play.
