The wind increased when Fabinho Araújo made the kick off in the second half. If Hernani Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. But to his dismay, Fabinho Araújo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some careless play in the SC Turuna defense, Edgar de Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Berger. The SC Turuna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Berger should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Correia in the 84th minute of play forced SC Turuna's goalkeeper Ian Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Denílson Sabóia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Raimundo Sena, passed just outside the right post. 87 minutes into the game, SC Turuna's Denílson Sabóia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimundo Sena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Biruleibe FC's Raimundo Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Biruleibe FC from getting a goal against them. Biruleibe FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Turuna the free kick. Raimundo Sena was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Denílson Sabóia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 95 minute of play. SC Turuna's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
