Zeca Queiroz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Perivaldo Saraiva. Arrozal FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Perivaldo Saraiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jean Pirani went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Kobe Lewandowski scored 0-3 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Perivaldo Saraiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aristides Dominic made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Fernando Moreno sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the game, Unidos F C's Jean Pirani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Perivaldo Saraiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Perivaldo Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Chinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Pirani in the 39th minute of play forced Arrozal FC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Álvaro Sena hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Perivaldo Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Chinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes, Hatem Trabelsi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unidos F C and the Arrozal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Arrozal FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Unidos F C were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmiro Chinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Delmiro Chintos short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Perivaldo Saraiva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 55 played minutes Arrozal FC got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Sena. Daniel Gomes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Perivaldo Saraiva made a huge save. Agostinho Melo charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agostinho Melo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th match minute, Arrozal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho Melo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Unidos F C booed when Arrozal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Kobe Lewandowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Perivaldo Saraiva. The goal made the score 0-7. Unidos F C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zeca Queiroz in the 71st minute. The corner ended in Zeca Queiroz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arrozal FC's Perivaldo Saraiva did a great save. Delmiro Chinto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Perivaldo Saraiva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Umberto Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrozal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Umberto Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Delmiro Chinto lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Perivaldo Saraiva. After some careless play in the Arrozal FC defense, Leonel Modrić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Perivaldo Saraiva. The Arrozal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Perivaldo Saraiva should have stopped the shot. During the 94th minute of the match Hatem Trabelsi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hatem Trabelsi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Arrozal FC booed when Unidos F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hatem Trabelsi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unidos F C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
