Juninho Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdir Garcia's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matheus Aparecido during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Bandelocos fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Bandelocos's Valdir Garcia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Juninho Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Brasil in the 17th minute of play. Cresciuma EC's Juninho Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Garcia in the 18th minute of play. Juninho Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After some careless play in the Cresciuma EC defense, Maurinho Vargas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juninho Cruz. The Cresciuma EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juninho Cruz should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Valdir Garcia sped through Cresciuma EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juninho Cruz. Juninho Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Garcia in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Cresciuma EC defense, Luiz Guilherme Varela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juninho Cruz. The Cresciuma EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juninho Cruz should have stopped the shot. Juninho Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anísio Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Cresciuma EC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Brasil came free, but Juninho Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdir Garcia took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juninho Cruz. Juninho Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Juninho Cruz came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bandelocos's Daniel Brasil. But to his dismay, Daniel Brasil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. If Luiz Guilherme Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes, Valdir Garcia made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Cresciuma EC's Juninho Cruz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdir Garcia made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Cresciuma EC's goalkeeper Juninho Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdir Garcia. Valdir Garcia succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-10. With a little luck, Cresciuma EC's Juninho Cruz got control of the ball when Maurinho Vargas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute, Billy Dowdall made a precise shot to the right of Juninho Cruz. Cresciuma EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. Juninho Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Juninho Cruz came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Bandelocos's Anísio Teixeira. But to his dismay, Anísio Teixeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. Daniel Brasil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdir Garcia struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Juninho Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandelocos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Vargas in the 72nd minute of play forced Cresciuma EC's goalkeeper Juninho Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Valdir Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bandelocos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdir Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juninho Cruz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 77th minute, which inside left pole to 0-13. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdir Garcia in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juninho Cruz saved Cresciuma EC from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, Billy Dowdall dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juninho Cruz, 0-14. Juninho Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Varela in the 87th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Bandelocos's Juninho Cruz threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Billy Dowdall, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Daniel Brasil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Juninho Cruz made a huge save. Juninho Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Bandelocos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cresciuma EC.
