Ediberto Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denílson Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Goiano having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Claudinho Guimarães fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ian Berger, passed just outside the right post. 41 minutes into the match, Denílson Sabóia notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Flamengo's Tiaguinho Goiano. Tiaguinho Goiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Ceresso in the 44th minute of play forced Flamengo's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Denílson Sabóia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinho Guimarães to strike the kick off in the second half. Tiaguinho Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Sabóia in the 55th minute of the match. Denílson Sabóia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tiaguinho Goiano came out and tried to block the shot, but Denílson Sabóia slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 56th minute. Hernani Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Denílson Sabóia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiaguinho Goiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Erik Ceresso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiaguinho Goiano was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Valdemar Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 minutes of play, SC Turuna's Valdemar Velasco made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiaguinho Goiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiaguinho Goiano made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Valdemar Velasco sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute SC Turuna were awarded a corner. Ediberto Leão went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 75th minute Hernani Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match, Denílson Sabóia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tiaguinho Goiano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. But to his dismay, Erik Ceresso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Tiaguinho Goiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Ceresso's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. SC Turuna's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
