After 32 played minutes Catone got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão França. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Erubiel Farias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arrozal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erubiel Farias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Almir de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Perivaldo Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Rosa in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Sydney Rosa made a precise shot to the right of Perivaldo Saraiva. Arrozal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Moreno got free with Almir de Mendonça in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Matías Viña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sydney Rosa in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Perivaldo Saraiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Erubiel Farias made the kick off in the second half. When Sydney Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Catone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sydney Rosa couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sydney Rosa in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perivaldo Saraiva saved Arrozal FC from getting behind. Arrozal FC's Perivaldo Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Rosa in the 57th minute of play. Sydney Rosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Perivaldo Saraiva made a huge save. In the 63rd match minute, Arrozal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Lupu to maneuver through the defense. After 65 minutes, Sydney Rosa made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Arrozal FC's Perivaldo Saraiva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliézer Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Perivaldo Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliézer Urbano in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perivaldo Saraiva saved Arrozal FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Eliézer Urbano sped through Arrozal FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Perivaldo Saraiva. 81 minutes into the game, Eliézer Urbano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Perivaldo Saraiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the match, Catone's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Farias came free, but Almir de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Arrozal FC booed when Catone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Catone's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
