Floresta Club U18's Douglas de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ian Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé Reis in the 46th minute of the match. Erik Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Léo de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Floresta Club U18 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience was convinced that Vito Maia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Berger was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Ian Berger acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sidnei Dionísio.
