The Corteva FC fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Corteva FC's 郭迪强 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. When Just Fontaine came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Corteva FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Just Fontaine couldn't finish the play. 郭迪强 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Robbie Southgate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Corteva FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Gustavo Marques hit a great ball. Pedro Luís do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jânio César tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aírton Tepedino hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Gustavo Marques took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robbie Southgate. Independente F.C. Limeira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mito Kannemann hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Jânio César showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 高坤源 in the 64th minute of the match. When 郭迪强 fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corteva FC's protests and gave 郭迪强 a yellow card for diving instead. 郭迪强 kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Gustavo Marques recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robbie Southgate. Gustavo Marques showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If Daryl Fay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 郭迪强 in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matheus França in the 96th minute of play forced Corteva FC's goalkeeper Jânio César to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corteva FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
