After 11 minutes, Alexandre Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anjos and the A.C. Guará players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Gaúcho in the 32nd minute of play forced Anjos's goalkeeper Alex Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Jeremías Basabilvaso made a precise shot to the right of Alex Figueiredo. Anjos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Anjos's Luiz Fábio Oliveira pulled a muscle in his back after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. André Veiga charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 42nd minute Ezequiel Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Karwowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute Ezequiel Mattos suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Anjos made a substitution. Nando da Silveira replaced Ezequiel Mattos. A collision led to A.C. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adhemar Martins made a kick off. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Alex Figueiredo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Zacarias Aurken's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Alex Figueiredo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Anjos booed when A.C. Guará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz da Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Figueiredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zacarias Aurken's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. A.C. Guará's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
