Mark Faiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Figueiredo having to interfere. Norbert Balonek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Bruchon in the 17th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho Bruchon notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Anjos's Alex Figueiredo. Alex Figueiredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the game, Goianésia E.C's Mark Faiko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Figueiredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The corner led Anjos's Adhemar Martins to fire away a dangerous shot which Norbert Balonek despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 64th minute Valdemar Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Balonek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Bruchon, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Goianésia E.C's Mark Faiko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Goianésia E.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
