Agro Imortal were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Sumaré Sport Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hector Sarmiento took the corner. Richard Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Gulak in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Agro Imortal's goal looked a bit too open when Olívio Matos came free, but Fernando Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilian Gulak in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Fontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valério Veiga hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Sebastian Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Trigo in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Agro Imortal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizinho Pesquera to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute of the match Zé Trigo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Courtois skillfully saved the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Sumaré Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Wilian Gulak came free, but Richard Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was beautiful to see Sumaré Sport Club's Zé Trigo in action when he in the 46th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 55th minute Alfred Chmelyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manoel Aguiar hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Sumaré Sport Club's Alfred Chmelyk in the 57th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Fernando Courtois was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Agro Imortal through an amazing save. In the 61st minute, Wilian Gulak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Agro Imortal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Agro Imortal's Dennis Bergkamp was substituted for Wilian Gulak. 66 minutes into the game, Dennis Bergkamp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Richard Fontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis Bergkamp in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Fontes saved Sumaré Sport Club from getting behind. Zé Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fernando Courtois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Caetano Munhoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Agro Imortal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Dennis Bergkamp took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Fontes. Richard Fontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After 89 played minutes Agro Imortal got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Valle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Chmelyk in the 91st minute of play forced Agro Imortal's goalkeeper Fernando Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Agro Imortal were victorious despite being under pressure from Sumaré Sport Club for much of the match.
