The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Ypiranga SC's goal looked a bit too open when Vitório Salles came free, but Jude Vang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jude Vang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 6 minutes, Lucas Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Squall FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Squall FC booed when Ypiranga SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajetan Gondek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ypiranga SC's zone, Vitório Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jude Vang came out of the goal and Vitório Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jude Vang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Antunes in the 14th minute of the match. Vitório Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jude Vang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ypiranga SC booed when Squall FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Squall FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kajetan Gondek came free, but Fellipe de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fellipe de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Freire in the 21st minute of play. Jude Vang was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Lucas Marques capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucas Marques really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, Ypiranga SC's goal looked a bit too open when Vitório Salles came free, but Jude Vang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 played minutes Ypiranga SC got a freekick which was hit by Geovânio Torres. 38 minutes into the match, Squall FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Freire came free, but Fellipe de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ypiranga SC's Jude Vang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Salles in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, Ypiranga SC's Jude Vang got control of the ball when Lucas Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jude Vang made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Lucas Marques sent off a good shot on target. Jude Vang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Salles in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The player immediately received a yellow card. 64 minutes into the match, Vitório Salles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jude Vang. Ypiranga SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitório Salles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After some careless play in the Ypiranga SC defense, Bernardo Iturbide kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jude Vang. The Ypiranga SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jude Vang should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute Lucas Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jude Vang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fellipe de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kajetan Gondek in the 78th minute of play. After 82 played minutes Squall FC got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Domingues. Jude Vang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Marques in the 84th minute of the match. After 88 minutes of play, Squall FC's Lucas Marques made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jude Vang was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jude Vang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Salles in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Lucas Marques made a precise shot to the right of Jude Vang. Ypiranga SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. There was no doubt that Squall FC were the better team. Squall FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
