Oliver Bierhoff stood somewhat misplaced when Esat Çeka came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. In the 20th minute, Diamonds FC's Esat Çeka dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Esat Çeka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Oliver Bierhoff made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Shah Tan took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Oliver Bierhoff to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shah Tan got free with Oliver Bierhoff in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diamonds FC's Esat Çeka was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Shah Tan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Oliver Bierhoff made a huge save. In the 32nd minute, Cleto Bazil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltazar Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugênio Romero in the 40th minute of play. Caio de Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caio de Mendonça the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to RiverFolia getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. RiverFolia's Oliver Bierhoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esat Çeka in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esat Çeka to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nildo Miranda in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliver Bierhoff saved RiverFolia from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Nildo Miranda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oliver Bierhoff was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Esat Çeka sped through RiverFolia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oliver Bierhoff. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Shah Tan put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Oliver Bierhoff. In the 67thth minute of the game Esat Çeka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RiverFolia's Oliver Bierhoff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oliver Bierhoff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. When Diamonds FC's Shah Tan in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RiverFolia's goalie prevented a goal. Oliver Bierhoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shah Tan in the 92nd minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Diamonds FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
