After 4 minutes Academia do Povo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gonzalo Tanio who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Pousada 2 Pedros FC's corner Gonzalo Tanio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Geovanni Quintal quite easily take care of the ball. Cris Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovanni Quintal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cris Batistuta went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Geovanni Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cris Batistuta in the 20th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Pousada 2 Pedros FC's corner Oséas Sanches fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Geovanni Quintal quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Academia do Povo FC's Belmiro Fonseca got a free kick in the 25th minute. Marcelo Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tadej Pogačar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jan-Ove Påk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 34 minutes into the match, Academia do Povo FC's goalkeeper Geovanni Quintal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Ove Påk. In the 35th minute Cris Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cris Batistuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Quintal having to interfere. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia do Povo FC's goalkeeper Geovanni Quintal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Oséas Sanches fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pousada 2 Pedros FC's protests and gave Oséas Sanches a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Pousada 2 Pedros FC got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Sanches. In the 47th minute 邓棋桦 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadej Pogačar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Pousada 2 Pedros FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Academia do Povo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gonzalo Tanio took the corner. After 54 minutes Academia do Povo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gonzalo Tanio who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Costa in the 59th minute of play forced Pousada 2 Pedros FC's goalkeeper Tadej Pogačar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alessandro Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadej Pogačar made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when 邓棋桦 sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the game, 邓棋桦 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tadej Pogačar. 邓棋桦 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 69thth minute of the game Celedonio Clis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pousada 2 Pedros FC's Tadej Pogačar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Academia do Povo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cris Batistuta came free, but Geovanni Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Geovanni Donato got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alessandro Queirós took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovanni Quintal. Geovanni Quintal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 95th minute, Isidoro Loiola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Academia do Povo FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
