Ragnar Bålström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edvaldo Borges came out and tried to block the shot, but Ragnar Bålström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. In the 13th minute, Luís Fabiano Secco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edvaldo Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragnar Bålström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glauco Rosa came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Black Storm FC's Edmundo Mesquita. But to his dismay, Edmundo Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Edvaldo Borges was a little too slow when Ragnar Bålström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-1. Edvaldo Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Lemiesz, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Black Storm FC's Edmundo Mesquita in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buritizo's goalie prevented a goal. Black Storm FC were furious when Marcus Soares was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Black Storm FC's Luís Fabiano Secco got a free kick in the 46th minute.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ragnar Bålström to strike the kick off in the second half. Edvaldo Borges was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Black Storm FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Edmundo Mesquita hit a great ball. Ragnar Bålström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Buritizo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Black Storm FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
