Vincent McGorrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro Paulista in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Edmundo Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent McGorrie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fabiano Secco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincent McGorrie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Vincent McGorrie came out of the goal and João Pedro Paulista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SERRANO's Vincent McGorrie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Mesquita in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, SERRANO's Agnaldo Perez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edvaldo Borges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After the first half Black Storm FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geovânio Paes made a kick off. Vincent McGorrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro Paulista in the 54th minute of the match. If Arthur Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A nice corner shot did that João Pedro Paulista got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vincent McGorrie quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 64 minutes of play, Black Storm FC's João Pedro Paulista made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Mesquita got free with Vincent McGorrie in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute of the match, Edmundo Mesquita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vincent McGorrie was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Geovânio Paes came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the SERRANO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovânio Paes couldn't finish the play. Edvaldo Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Geovânio Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Edvaldo Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arthur Neves during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes SERRANO got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Neves. 97 minutes into the game, Black Storm FC's Luís Fabiano Secco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vincent McGorrie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5.
